Headed out for the early bite with my good friend Will, sorry honey hole must be protected. Very windy morning but I think it's what helped the bite. From the first minutes we arrived we were fishing in two feet of early spring young Lillie's. we caught well over a dozen quality keepers 2-3 lbs each. We were both swimming jigs with various trailers, we got away from our pattern for like an hour. When we decided we should go back to what was working, wills first cast landed a three pounder, his like third cast he catches his personal best 7.9 lbs of pure slob. It was such a great time I felt like I caught the thing lol.

Awesome day will, thank you

Hit the concord with good ole Ed about three o'clock.
Ed caught about a four pounder on a frog.
I had on about a five pounder but he jumped and spit me out.
Still very fun. Then I caught a northern pike that was a better fight. About six pounds and over three feet long.
Good times
