From the roaminangler : You have to start sometime and better late than never ! The first thing I hooked on a flyrod was my dad's left ear when I was 9 years old . One thing you learn about flyfishing is patience , persistance , stealth , and the foodchain of insects and fish . Stay in it , I've been doing it for 44 years . I caught my best Rainbow in 2010 in the Sipsey tailrace of Smith Dam on a 94 degree afternoon in late May . It was only a 20 incher but is was more of a delight than a 7 Lb. bass I caught on a flyrod in 1970 .
